Our packages start at $750 for a three-hour event in South Florida. Most weddings book either The Gentleman ($750) or The Dapper ($1,000), which covers four hours with two attendants and is suitable for weddings up to 150 guests. Galas and events above 150 guests book The Black Tie at $1,400.
A wedding shoe shine experience is a live vendor station — similar in concept to a photo booth or cigar roller — where a skilled attendant gives guests a complimentary shoe shine during cocktail hour or the reception. We bring the chair, the polish, the attendant, and the vintage atmosphere. Your guests walk away with shoes that look better than when they arrived.
A standard shine takes about five minutes per guest. That allows us to service roughly 30 to 40 guests per hour per station — meaning a two-station setup over four hours can comfortably serve every gentleman at a 150-guest wedding.
We service all standard dress leather: oxfords, derbies, brogues, loafers, monk straps, and most dress boots. Patent leather, suede, fabric, and athletic shoes cannot be polished. We let guests know politely if their shoe is not suitable — and most weddings see 80%+ of male guests in shoes we can service.
Yes. Bar and bat mitzvahs are one of our most popular event types, particularly for adult guests during the cocktail and reception portions of the evening. We coordinate timing with your event planner so the experience peaks when adult guests are most engaged.
We serve most of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties — including Miami, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and West Palm Beach. Events outside our standard service area are welcome with a custom quote.
We recommend booking three to six months in advance for prime wedding dates, especially Saturday evenings in season. Shorter notice is often workable — reach out and we will confirm availability for your date.
A single station fits in roughly 6 feet by 6 feet. A double-station setup fits in 10 feet by 6 feet. We work with your venue and planner to find the ideal placement — typically near the cocktail hour space or just outside the reception room.
Cancellations 60 or more days before your event receive a full refund of amounts paid. Cancellations between 30 and 60 days receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 30 days of the event are non-refundable, as the date has been held for you. Date changes are accommodated subject to availability at no additional charge when requested 30 or more days in advance. The Black Tie package includes extended flexibility — full refund up to 30 days before the event, and free date changes at any time subject to availability.
Yes. Black Tie Shine carries $1 million in general liability coverage. Certificates of insurance naming your venue as additionally insured are available on request at no charge.
