We serve Miami, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, Aventura, Coral Gables, Sunny Isles Beach, Bal Harbour, Surfside, Key Biscayne, Coconut Grove, Pinecrest, Doral, Hollywood, Hallandale Beach, Pompano Beach, Weston, Plantation, Wellington, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, and all surrounding towns. If your venue is outside this radius, we travel by custom quote.

Each of our experiences is a flat $900 in South Florida. The Reception covers three hours of live shoe shine service during cocktail hour and reception. The Groom’s Suite covers two hours of getting-ready service for the groom and his party. Book both for the same wedding and the full day is $1,500.
A wedding shoe shine experience is a live vendor station, similar in concept to a photo booth or cigar roller, where a skilled attendant gives guests a complimentary shoe shine during cocktail hour or the reception. We bring the chair, the polish, the attendant, and the vintage atmosphere. Your guests walk away with shoes that look better than when they arrived.
The Groom’s Suite is a two-hour head-to-toe getting-ready service, morning or afternoon, wherever the groom and his party are getting dressed. The signature shine is the centerpiece — every shoe in the party — but the service covers whatever it takes to get the men photo-ready: jackets and shirts steamed and pressed, ties straightened, and a groom’s rescue kit stocked with mints, floss, a lint roller, a stain pen, and a sewing kit for last-minute fixes. We also keep the groom’s side on schedule so the photographer gets every getting-ready shot. It is a wedding service — for mitzvahs, galas, and corporate events, The Reception is the experience.
A standard shine takes about three to four minutes per guest. That allows us to service roughly 20 to 25 guests per hour per station. For larger guest counts, a second station and attendant can be added to any Reception booking.
We service all standard dress leather: oxfords, derbies, brogues, loafers, monk straps, and most dress boots. Patent leather, suede, fabric, and athletic shoes cannot be polished. We let guests know politely if their shoe is not suitable, and most weddings see 80%+ of male guests in shoes we can service.
Yes. Bar and bat mitzvahs are one of our most popular event types, particularly for adult guests during the cocktail and reception portions of the evening. We coordinate timing with your event planner so the experience peaks when adult guests are most engaged. Read about our mitzvah service →
We serve most of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, including Miami, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, West Palm Beach, Aventura, Coral Gables, Sunny Isles Beach, Bal Harbour, Wellington, and Jupiter. Events outside our standard service area are welcome with a custom quote.
We recommend booking three to six months in advance for prime wedding dates, especially Saturday evenings in season. Shorter notice is often workable. Reach out and we will confirm availability for your date.
A single station fits in roughly 6 feet by 6 feet. We work with your venue and planner to find the ideal placement, typically near the cocktail hour space or just outside the reception room. The Groom’s Suite service needs no setup space at all — we come to wherever you are getting ready.
Cancellations 60 or more days before your event receive a full refund of amounts paid. Cancellations between 30 and 60 days receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 30 days of the event are non-refundable, as the date has been held for you. Date changes are accommodated subject to availability at no additional charge when requested 30 or more days in advance.
Yes. Black Tie Shine carries $1 million in general liability coverage. Certificates of insurance naming your venue as additionally insured are available on request at no charge.
